The NTZ-RET-RX-RC offers versatile customization options in the form of multiple built-in settings and external add-ons. The RX-RC can produce light streaks of 3 modalities, divergent, parallel, and convergent, to suit the needs of any clinical application.
The NTZ-RET-RX-RC uses bulbs with precisely manufactured 0.05 mm diameter filaments to produce one of the sharpest streaks of light in the industry. In addition, the beam can be easily rotated 360 degrees to quickly and effortlessly measure a patient’s astigmatic axis. Importantly, the controls for streak rotation and width are separate, meaning that it will maintain an ultra-sharp streak no matter what.
The device also comes pre-loaded with the +2D lens (Presbyopic Lens), but +3D and +1D lenses are available for purchase as optional accessories. The Presbyopic Lens is very comfortable for patients who have presbyopia. With this lens, patients do not need to wear their glasses when performing a retinoscopy.
