NTZ-BIO-IO-a LED
The NTZ-BIO-IO-a LED is a high-quality binocular indirect ophthalmoscope from Neitz, an established expert in medical optics for ophthalmology. Using aberration-free Japanese engineered optics and advanced LED technology, the NTZ-BIO-IO-a LED provides a crystal clear stereoscopic view of the fundus with ease.
The NEW light source reproduces clean illumination in Halogen bulb color and eliminates the filament shadow. LED light source provides steady illumination for 50,000 hours, free exchange the light bulb.The combination of the LED and the powerful re-chargeable battery allows 5 times longer operation and 10 hours continuous lighting.
This high degree of visual clarity is due, in part, to the superb illumination of the NTZ-BIO-IO-a LED. The illumination diameter is adjustable and can be set to 19 mm, 50 mm, or 80 mm, depending on the application. The 3W LED has a color temperature of 3200K, matching that of the halogen bulbs in the average indirect ophthalmoscope.
The color temperature of the LED of Neitz IO-a LED is 3200 K , which is same color temperature to the halogen bulb used in the typical binocular indirect ophthalmoscope. The colors observed in ophthalmoscopy are red of blood vessel, orange of retina and yellow of optic disc.
Differently from common white color LED used in the binocular indirect ophthalmoscopes of other manufacturers, our halogen bulb color LED reproduces these colors with high color rendering properties as shown in the chart on the left. It supports operator to obtain the maximized information from the fundus observation for more precise diagnosis.
